Rahil Gangjee
India’s lone flag bearer on the Japan Golf Tour in 2021, 43-year-old Rahil Gangjee shot 72-71-68-72 (1-over 283) to finish tied-45th at the US$ 1.3mn Dunlop Phoenix tournament in Miyazaki Japan.
In 2020-2021, Rahil has played in 22 events and made 12 cuts, with his best finish of tied-10th coming at the Mizuno Open in May this year.
Gangjee will now be headed to the US$ 1.3mn Casio World Open from Nov. 25-28 and is currently lying 85th on the tour’s rankings, meaning he will most likely have to requalify if he wishes to play the Japan Tour in 2022.
