Keen golf fans will likely be familiar with Grant Thornton as the major sponsor of the US$ 20mn PLAYERS Championship, the PGA tour’s annual flagship event held at the famous TPC Sawgrass course in Florida.

The organisation’s brand ambassadors include some of the hottest names in men’s and women’s golf, including the following:

For Grant Thornton Bharat, this is their first rendezvous with professional golf in India but the organisation has been involved with the game on the amateur level. The  brand is the official scorekeeper of Delhi Golf Club League, Awadh Leagues (Lucknow), Karnataka golf league, RPGL (Kolkata), Classic Golf League and the YPO South Asia Invitational. The brand even promotes underprivileged golfers by supporting ‘The Golf Foundation’, a charitable society formed by like-minded golfers to support underprivileged amateur/junior golfers. Their vision is to build golf as an inclusive sport for all.

In April 2022, they organised a friendly golf tournament with Indian and Japanese companies to mark 70 years of Indo-Japan relations
