The Ladies European Tour’s (LET) $1.5 million Aramco Korea Championship was held from May 9-11 at the New Korea Country Club, with Indian participation seeing mixed results. Of the four Indian LET regulars in the starting field—Pranavi Urs, Diksha Dagar, Avani Prashanth, and Tvesa Malik—only Pranavi and Diksha made the cut to play the weekend.

22-year-old Pranavi Urs of Mysore carded rounds of 73-74-74 to finish tied-40th at five-over 221. After missing the cut at the season opener, Urs has now made five consecutive cuts and is currently placed 38th in the LET Rankings after finishing her Rookie year in 2024 at 17th place in the final standings.

24-year-old Diksha Dagar of Delhi, a two-time LET winner, ended her week at tied-52nd with scores of 74-73-75 for a total of six-over 222. She has made 5 cuts in 7 starts this year with three Top-10 finishes that have bumped her up to 7th in the current Rankings.

It was a close miss for LET Rookie Avani Prashanth, the 18-year-old from Bangalore, who missed the cut by a single stroke at 152 after the first two rounds (78-74). Tvesa Malik from Delhi, a former Sunshine (South Africa) Tour winner, struggled to find form, shooting 79-76.

The Aramco Korea Championship follows the unique Aramco Team Series format, combining individual and team competitions over the first 36 holes. The 104-player field was split into 26 teams, with captains selected based on the latest Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings. The team event offered a prize purse of $500,000, with the best two scores per hole from each team counting toward the final team tally. Both Pranavi and Diksha were named Team Captains, with Avani being a part of Pranavi’s Team. In the final Team standings, Team Dagar finished tied-7th, while Team Urs finished tied-11th.

The LET now returns to Europe, starting with the Dutch Ladies Open from May 16–18, which will see an increased Indian contingent. In addition to the four full-time Indian LET players, three of India’s former HWPGT No.1-ranked players, Sneha Singh (2023), Hitaashee Bakshi (2024), and Chandigarh’s Amandeep Drall (2020-21) have also earned starts. Hitaashee is scheduled to play seven consecutive LET events across Europe, beginning in the Netherlands, followed by stops in France, Spain, Belgium, Czech Republic, Germany, and Ireland.
