Drall during the first round
The €300,000 Tipsport Czech Ladies Open wrapped up on the Ladies European Tour (LET) schedule last week at the Beroun Golf Club from June 20–22. Eight Indian players were in the field and five made the cut, with Diksha Dagar, Amandeep Drall, and Tvesa Malik emerging as the best-placed Indians, all finishing tied-46th at 7-under 209.
It was an eventful week for 32-year-old Amandeep Drall of Chandigarh, who produced her career-best round, opening with an 8-under 64 that gave her the first-round lead. This indicates a welcome return to form for the 2022 Hero Women’s Indian Open runner up, who lost her playing privileges on the LET in 2024, where she failed to make a single cut.
For Diksha Dagar, it was her 9th consecutive cut and her 10th cut in 12 starts this season, underlining her consistency, which has put her at 11th in the LET Rankings for 2025, as the highest-placed Indian.
Making her 3rd cut in 5 starts in her first season on the LET, 20-year-old Hitaashee Bakshi of Delhi finished tied-62nd at 4-under 212. Hyderabad’s 21-year-old Sneha Singh was tied-65th, making her first cut of the season in her third start.
On the other side of the cut line—WGAI veterans Vani Kapoor and Neha Tripathi, along with LET rookie Avani Prashanth, failed to make it to the weekend. For 18-year-old Avani, who has enjoyed a strong debut year on the tour, this marked just her third missed cut in 11 starts. She remains a standout performer this season, with a career-best Top-5 finish earlier this month, and is currently placed 27th in the Rankings.
