The second leg of the US$125,000 “Morocco Rising Stars – Marrakech” concluded on June 29 at the Al Maaden Golf Resort with five Indian golfers making the cut, led by Chandigarh-based professional Ajeetesh Sandhu, who finished tied-14th following his 13th place finish the previous week.

Also making it to the weekend and finishing just one shot behind Sandhu were three Indian golfers—Khalin Joshi, Pukhraj Singh Gill, and U.S.-based Varun Chopra—all tied for 21st place at 14-under 274. Joshi has made cuts in all four events he’s entered this season, and is currently 41st in the ADT Rankings.

Patna’s Aman Raj finished tied-38th propelled by a 3rd-round 65.

The conclusion of the Morocco Rising Stars two-week swing, jointly sanctioned by the Asian Development Tour and the Arab Golf Federation, represents a strategic expansion of competitive opportunities in the North African and Arab region.
