Jasmine Shekar wins her third title on the Hero WPGT

Jasmine Shekar delivered a clutch performance in the final round of the Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour (Hero WPGT) at Clover Greens, near Bangalore, carding a stellar 4-under 68 to claim her third career title, overcoming a three-shot deficit to edge out overnight leader Neha Tripathi

Jasmine turned pro in 2024 and won two titles in her debut season – at Golden Greens, Gurgaon and at Boulder Hills in Hyderabad.

Neha appeared poised to end her two-year title drought, but trouble struck between holes 12 and 16, where she dropped four shots. Jasmine, playing in the final group, seized the moment—most notably with a two-shot swing at the par-4 12th, where she birdied and Neha bogeyed. Jasmine went bogey-free on the back nine, firing a 3-under 31 and finishing with a birdie on the 18th to seal a three-shot win at 9-under 207.

Neha settled for second at 6-under, while Ridhima Dilawari’s 67—tied for the lowest round of the day—lifted her to solo third at 4-under. Seher Atwal followed in fourth, with Vani Kapoor, Amandeep Drall, and Kriti Chowhan tied for fifth.

Despite the upset, Vani retains the lead in the Hero Order of Merit, followed by Amandeep and Sneha Singh. Jasmine’s latest win propels her to fourth in the season standings.

Calm, clinical, and confident—Jasmine proved once again she can handle the tour’s best.
