Aditi shoots season low 65
India’s Aditi Ashok, a three-time Olympian and Arjuna Awardee, finished strongly on the weekend with rounds of 65-67 to finish sixth at the US$2 million Portland Classic — her best result of the season.
Her third-round 65, the lowest round of her year, briefly gave her the lead as she earned US$69,718 (₹61 lakh approx.) for the week.
The 27-year-old from Bengaluru has now made 7 cuts in 13 starts this season, with two top-10 finishes.
She moves to 71st on the LPGA’s standings with US$252,600 (₹2.2 crore approx.) in earnings this year. Only the top-60 qualify for the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship, keeping her playoff hopes alive with 11 regular events still remaining.
