Veer Ahlawat is close to conditional status on the DP World Tour!

Veer Ahlawat, 29, of Gurgaon, who is playing in his maiden DP World (European) Tour season, carded rounds of 69-64-70-68 to register a 33rd place finish at 9-under 271 at the US$ 3.25mn Omega European Masters in Switzerland, marking his fourth consecutive cut in Europe.

With seven events still to come, including the inaugural US$4 million DP World India Championship at Delhi Golf Club in October and several lucrative Rolex Series events (which he may or not qualify to play), will Ahlawat will be able to retain his playing status in Europe for 2026 ?

Shubhankar Sharma, the two-time winner and a tour veteran carded rounds of 70-68 to miss the cut by a stroke at 2-under par, marking his 14th consecutive missed cut in what is proving to be a very difficult year for the player who has shone in Europe for the past 9 years.

The DP World Tour now moves to Ireland for its US$ 6mn Amgen Irish Open from Sep. 4-7.
