Lahiri has decided to make a much needed contribution to creating champions
Anirban Lahiri, a multiple European Tour winner & former PGA Tour player who currently plays on the LIV Toour on the team captained by Bryson DeChambeau has announced a new Mentorship Program under his BAAN Foundation, launched in 2024 to support budding champions in India. The initiative will identify three young golfers by January 2026, with Lahiri and his team offering them personal guidance, training, and exposure.
The former Presidents Cup star said the program is designed to bridge the gap he sees in Indian golf: “Proper guidance is the missing link stopping our players from graduating to the highest ranks.”
The mentorship will focus on discipline, commitment, and world-class preparation, with Lahiri promising his “undivided attention” to help selected golfers pursue careers at the highest level.
Through this initiative, Lahiri aims to give back the lessons and experiences he has gathered over two decades competing globally, ensuring the next generation has the support system needed to succeed.
