Aditi Ashok remains the lone Indian representative on the LPGA
India’s Aditi Ashok, playing her 9th season on the highly competitive LPGA Tour and the country’s most consistent global performer of the past decade, inched closer to retaining her playing rights in America for an unprecedented 10th consecutive season by finishing 27th at 10-under 278 at the US$ 3 million Maybank Championship in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Aditi carded rounds of 70-70-66-72, collecting US$ 24,228 (₹21.4 lakhs) and marking her 11th cut in 18 starts this season. The finish moved her to 74th on the LPGA rankings.
The result follows her tied-57th finish in Shanghai, extending her run of cuts on the LPGA’s Asian Swing. Notably, she remains, as always, among the most accurate drivers on the LPGA Tour, ranking 7th in Driving Accuracy with an impressive 79.69%.
With just two regular-season events remaining, Aditi continues her push for a place in the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship, which features only the top 60 players on the points list.
The top-100 players retain their cards for the following season on the LPGA. While Aditi is still assured of full status in 2026, she might miss out on the US$ 11mn CME Group Tour Championship scheduled for Nov. 20-23.
The LPGA Tour now heads to Japan for the US$ 2.1 million Toto Japan Classic, scheduled from November 6–9.
