LIV Golf has announced details for its 2026 Qualifying Tournament, set to take place at Black Diamond Ranch in Florida over 72 holes from January 8–11, 2026.

The four-round qualifier will determine entry into next season’s LIV Golf League. The top two finishers will earn full-season spots in the 2026 League, while the top 10 (including ties) will receive full exemption into the 2026 International Series on the Asian Tour.

The competition will feature four rounds of 18-hole stroke play, with progressive cuts after the first two rounds. Scores will reset after Rounds 1 and 2, while Rounds 3 and 4 will be cumulative. January 12 has been reserved as a contingency day in case of weather delays.

The 2023 edition, held in Abu Dhabi, saw India’s Gaganjeet Bhullar finish tied-14th after rounds of 75 and 69, narrowly missing one of three qualifying spots for the 2024 LIV season. Bhullar had earned his place through his 8th-place finish on the International Series Order of Merit, following his victory at the BNI Indonesian Masters in 2023. Karandeep Kochhar, also part of the 2023 LIV Qualifier field, missed the cut by two shots after an opening 72.

LIV Golf also confirmed that its 2026 season will expand to 72-hole events, marking what CEO Scott O’Neil called a “pivotal new chapter” for the league as it continues to evolve its competitive format and move closer to earnings World Ranking Points.
