16-year-old Gurgaon golfer Vihaan Jain secured a breakthrough win on the international junior circuit, claiming the AJGA ( American Jr Golf Association) title at OakWing Golf Club in Louisiana with rounds of 72, 68 and 72 to finish at 4 under 212, sealing the victory with a birdie on the final hole. The win made him the first Indian to claim the title in the event.
Vihaan has previously recorded top 15 and top 20 finishes at events such as the IMG Junior World Championship and the FCG International Junior Championship, along with back to back top 20 results at the US Kids Teen World Championships.
The AJGA continues to be a key pathway for young golfers, and Jain’s win marks another step forward in his progression towards collegiate golf in the United States.
