
Four Indian professionals — Shrestha Shukla, Sifat Sagoo, Durga Nittur and Sneha Singh — earned their playing rights on the Thai LPGA Tour for the 2026 season through the Qualifying Tournament held over 36 holes on March 18–19 at Royal Hua Hin Golf Course.
Durga Nittur, 23, from Bengaluru, carded rounds of 79-77 (12-over 156) to finish T-21 and emerge as the best placed Indian in the field.
Sifat Sagoo, a Purdue University graduate and the best Indian amateur at the 2018 Hero Women’s Indian Open, returned rounds of 78-79 to finish T-24. She was joined at the same position by Sneha Singh, the 2023 Hero WPGT season leader, who posted rounds of 79-78 for a total of 13-over 157.
Eighteen year old Shrestha Shukla from Gwalior also secured her card.
Rhea Purvi Saravanan, 23, from Kolar, was the only Indian to miss the cut.
The tournament featured 79 players, with 70 making it past the first round cut. After 36 holes, only the top 40 players earned playing rights for the 2026 season.
The Thai LPGA Tour typically comprises around 18 events, with an average prize purse of US$40,000 per event.
