The Golf Foundation, helmed by Asian Games gold medallist golfer and Arjuna Awardee Amit Luthra, hosted ‘The Golf Foundation Invitational Fund Raiser 2019’ at Delhi Golf Club on March 1. The event saw the presence of some of the country’s eminent golfers and sports personalities. Former India cricketer Bishan Singh Bedi was among those in attendance.
The fundraiser was an endeavour to help young, lesser-privileged and upcoming golfers who are passionate, highly dedicated and dream of making it big in golf at the national and international levels.
Speaking about the initiative, Amit Luthra (Founder CEO, The Golf Foundation) said: “I feel very blessed. By the grace of God, and thanks to wonderful like-minded golfing buddies supporting me, a humble effort to do a little bit has now become a successful project. India has seen some exceptional golfing talent emerge on the Indian, Asian, European and also the World scene.”
