The DDA Golf Course Dwarka was newly inaugurated this year

Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has announced major plans to upgrade the golf facilities in Dwarka, Delhi, into a Centre of Excellence for Golf and has asked various agencies to bid for this.

The new Centre is set to operate at the yet to be operational golf course, not far from the International airport and is equipped with state-of-the-art amenities.

Modern Golf Facilities and Player Support
The Centre aims to deliver not just coaching but holistic player development. Key features proposed include:

  • Driving Range Operations
  • Golf-Specific Fitness Programmes
  • Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Facilities
  • Technology Integration
  • Educational Infrastructure
  • Retail Services

This initiative comes at a time when India’s golf ecosystem is striving to expand grassroots participation and improve performance of professional players.

The DDA’s announcement underscores the growing need for proper training facilities and we hope that the plan bears fruit.
