Delhi boy Saptak wins US College Tourney

CONNECTICUT

22-year-old Saptak Talwar of New Delhi, a 4th year student at Sacred Heart University in Connecticut, USA, shot 66-75 (141) to win the SHU Spring Invitational for another success in an already stellar season.

Saptak, who is in his final semester in University, has already secured his playing rights on the PGA Tour Canada having finished 4th in the Tour Qualifying event last month with scores of  69-74-67-69 (9-under, 279). He becomes the first Indian to qualify for the PGA Tour Canada which typically stages around 12 to 18 US$200,000 tournaments between June and September each year.
