18-year-old Jahanvi Bakshi of Gurgaon, continued her remarkable run this season winning her fourth title this year and 2nd in succession, shooting 72-68-69 (7-under 209) at Boulder Hills Golf & CC, Hyderabad on the Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour of India (HWPGT) run by WGAI ( Women’s Golf Association of India).

Jahanvi entered the final round one shot behind overnight co-leaders Amandeep Drall and Seher Atwal. In the final round Seher needed a birdie on the final hole to force a playoff, however managed just a par, resulting in Jahanvi taking the title. Drall and Vani Kapoor who finished 3rd and 2nd the previous week finished tied 3rd at 5 under 211, while Mysore’s Pranavi Urs finished another stroke back at 4 under,  212.  

The tour will now head to Kolkata for it’s 14th Leg at Tollygunge Golf Club from Dec. 7-10 & 15th Leg at RCGC from Dec. 14-17 to culminate the 2020-2021 season but may see a weaker field as several girls head to Spain for the Ladies European Tour qualifying tournament to attempt to earn playing rights for 2022.
