
Diksha currently leads the LET in both birdies and pars
Diksha Dagar, Aditi Ashok and Pranavi Urs all made the cut US$1.5 million PIF London Championship last week.
Diksha, a two-time winner on the Ladies European Tour (LET), carded 70-73-73 to finish T-19 at 3-under 216 and with a cheque of US$18,800 (₹16.5 lakh approx) lies 12th on the LET standings.
In 16 starts this season, the 24-year-old has made 14 cuts and earned US$169,211 (₹1.4 crore). She leads the tour in birdies made with 199 — 14 more than France’s Nastasia Nadaud and Austria’s Emma Spitz — and also tops the pars-made chart with 658, ahead of Nadaud’s 651.
In London, speaking to the media about her father and caddie, Col. Narinder Dagar, Diksha said:
“My relationship with my Dad is very special. He’s the reason I play golf. He makes the game very exciting and loves to be involved. Having him on the bag gives me a feeling of closeness and satisfaction.”
Aditi Ashok, the five-time LET winner, shot 73-74-72 to finish T-34 at even par. Pranavi Urs, returning from a wrist injury, was T-44 at 2-over, while rookie Avani Prashanth missed the cut by three.
The LET moves next to Sweden for the US$345,000 Hills Open from Aug. 22–24.
