Team Victory Waves
The inaugural Aeroplaza Panchkula Golf League, which began on April 7 at the Panchkula Golf Club, has moved into its final phase with Victory Waves and Highland Kings advancing to the final.
Victory Waves booked their place in the final with a commanding 4–1 win over Golfing Panthers in the semi-final. The second semi-final between Highland Kings and Sneakin Golfers proved to be a closer affair, with Highland Kings mounting a strong comeback to win three of five matches, tie one, and lose one—securing their place in the final.
More significantly, in a peculiar turn of events, a lawsuit was filed against Panchkula League and the Club Administration by members of the Raging Bulls team. This matter has now been amicably settled by both parties after they appeared in court and submitted a joint statement confirming that they had mutually agreed to withdraw the case after reaching a compromise, without pursuing the matter on legal merits.
It was also jointly agreed and recorded by the Court that no further cognizance of the matter shall be taken by the Club Administration, which is presently managed by Col. Avtar Singh Dhillon, who was also one of the defendants in this case.
