The Tommy Fleetwood International Pathway Series, part of the AJGA-sanctioned events, concluded at Yas Links Abu Dhabi from February 10-12, marking the final tournament in a three-event series. The series, supported by the Emirates Golf Federation (EGF) and the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA), provides junior golfers with a chance to earn Performance Based Entry (PBE) Status for future AJGA tournaments in the U.S. and North America.
In the Girls’ Division, 16-year-old Mahreen Bhatia of India delivered a strong performance, finishing in second place. She led the tournament for the first two rounds with scores of 68 and 71 but slipped on the final day with a 76, ending with a total of 215. She finished just one stroke behind Dubai-based Ananyaa Sood, who secured victory with rounds of 71-69-74 for a total score of 214. Sood, recently named an Ambassador for The Els Club, Dubai, claimed the title with a one-shot advantage.
The Boys’ Division saw another Dubai-based golfer, 17-year-old Raghav Gulati, emerge victorious with rounds of 67-75-68 to finish at six-under 210 for the 54-hole event.
This tournament was the concluding leg of the Tommy Fleetwood Pathway Series, following earlier events at Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai and Al Hamra Golf Club in Ras Al Khaimah. The series also served as a qualifier for the EGF 2024-2025 Junior Order of Merit and awarded World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) points under the support of The R&A.
