Season Overview
Aditi Ashok is set to embark on her 10th consecutive season on the LPGA Tour, having first earned her card for the 2017 season. In comparison, Anirban Lahiri joined the PGA Tour in 2016 and retained his card for seven straight seasons until 2022, before moving to the LIV Golf League.
India’s most celebrated pro, Jeev Milkha Singh became the first Indian to play on the European Tour in 1998 and competed in 386 events in Europe between 1998 and 2020. His schedule slowed between 2003 and 2005, when he played just 2, 5, and 7 events respectively in Europe since he used to split his time with the Japan Tour, and again after 2017, featuring in only 14 tournaments over his final four seasons on the Tour. In 2022, he joined the Legends Tour (European Senior Tour).
Shubhankar Sharma is currently playing his ninth consecutive season on the DP World Tour (formerly the European Tour). He first joined the Tour in 2017 and successfully regained his 2026 European Tour card through Qualifying School with a T-2 finish.
Similarly, Diksha Dagar joined the Ladies European tour in 2017 and continues her fully exempt status there in 2026 through finishing in the top 25 in the 2025 rankings.
Jyoti Randhawa played in Europe from around 2000 onward and secured a runner-up finish to Thongchai Jaidee at the 2005 Malaysian Open. He played his last full season as a Tour member in 2010.
This puts Aditi at perhaps the top Indian of all time, along with only Jeev to have kept playing status on an apex tours for around a decade – either LPGA and PGA Tour. The LET and men’s European tour are considered one rung lower.

Season Highlights
- The Portland Surge: Her 6th-place finish at The Standard Portland Classic saw her briefly in contention for the lead on the final day.
- Mexico Success: Secured a T9 finish at the MEXICO Riviera Maya Open, proving her game travels well across different course styles and climates.
Final Grade: B
Aditi’s 2025 season was lackluster – 75th place was only slightly better than 2024 when she finished 84th in the LPGA Rankings but not as good as 2023 when she finished 41st but also 4th on the European Tour where she won two times. However retaining playing rights on the LPGA Tour for the 10th consecutive year is no mean feat however unless she can significantly raises her driving distance, she will be challenged to compete for titles.
