26-year-old Karandeep Kochhar claimed the first international pro victory in 2026 by an Indian male and his first Asian Development Tour (ADT) title with a composed three-shot victory at the US$125,000 Egypt Golf Series – Red Sea Open.

The multiple PGTI winner, who now plays in the India Golf Premier League (IGPL), shot rounds of 68-66-65-70 at Sokhna Golf Club to finish at 19-under, three clear of England’s Matt Killen (67). The win earned him US$21,875 (≈₹19.3 lakh) and moved him up to fourth on the ADT Order of Merit, effectively securing one of the 10 Asian Tour cards on offer for the 2026 season with only the Aramco Invitational (Nov 26–29) left on the schedule.

“Feels great… “It’s almost four years since my last win,” Kochhar said. “I came here with just one goal — to secure my Asian Tour card. I sacrificed a lot for that, and I think I’ve pretty much achieved my goal.”
