ADT – Kartik Singh finishes T-11 in second ADT start

Kartik is dividing his time playing on the ADT and PGTI

16-year-old Kartik Singh, who trains at DLF Golf and Country Club in Gurugram, finished T-11 at the US$92,000 Singha-SAT ADT Hua Hin Championship in Thailand. Playing just his second event on the Asian Development Tour (ADT), he posted rounds of 67-74-73-70 to close at 4-under 284.

Kartik opened with a 67 to sit solo second, two shots behind Thailand’s Warun Ieamgaew. Scores of 74 and 73 over the next two rounds saw him slip to T-23, but a closing 70 helped him recover into the top 15.

The teenager had earlier earned playing rights on both the PGTI and the Asian Development Tour through two different qualifying tournaments. He made his ADT debut at the PKNS Selangor Masters in February, finishing T-47th at 7-over 291.

Kartik, who is currently pursuing Grade 10 through a virtual program with Northern Pre University in Ontario, is balancing academics with a growing tournament schedule. He sits ninth in the PGTI rankings with two top-10 finishes in six starts this season and is targeting progression to the Asian Tour.
