Karandeep Kochhar, Khalin Joshi, Rahil Gangjee, Yuvraj Sandhu, Chikkarangappa S. and Viraj Madappa all made the cut at the US$500,000 Indonesia Open in Jakarta, underlining a strong Indian presence as the Asian Tour resumed action last week.

Positions:

Karandeep Kochhar – 14th at 13-under par (Chandigarh)

Khalin Joshi  – 27th at 11-under  (Bangalore)

Rahil Gangjee – 48th at 8-under. (Kolkata)

Viraj Madappa –  43rd at 9-under (Kolkata)

Yuvraj Sandhu – 52nd at 7 under par (Chandigarh)

Chikkarangappa – 69th at even-par (Bangalore)

2025 PGTI season rankings leader Yuvraj Sandhu, who had been in blistering form at home with a staggering 59-under across his last eight rounds while winning back-to-back titles, could only manage 7-under 281 (69-70-71-71) for 52nd spot in Jakarta — a reminder of the adjustments required when playing overseas.

Former Asian Tour winners Ajeetesh Sandhu (-1) and SSP Chawrasia (E) missed the cut, as did Aman Raj (+1).

Notably absent was Gaganjeet Bhullar, India’s record 11-time Asian Tour champion and three-time winner of the Indonesia Open, lying 51st on the current Asian Tour rankings who skipped the event to prepare for a domestic event.
