Indian golf courses can join the global golf community as for the fifth consecutive year, the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA)—in collaboration with global turf associations—will celebrate the tireless efforts of those who keep golf courses playable, sustainable, and beautiful. “Thank a Golf Course Superintendent Day” will be observed worldwide on September 9, 2025.
We encourage Indian golf courses and superintendents to observe the occasion and shine a light on their hardworking turf teams. Please share photos or messages of appreciation to rishi@rnsportsmarketing.com for a chance to be featured in our weekly newsletter.
The international initiative is supported by leading turf and greenkeeping organizations, including the British and International Golf Greenkeepers Association (BIGGA), the Australian Sports Turf Managers Association (ASTMA), the Canadian Golf Superintendents Association (CGSA), and the Federation of European Golf Greenkeepers Associations (FEGGA). Collectively, these bodies represent more than 31,000 golf course management professionals across 78 countries.
This day serves as a heartfelt reminder to thank the professionals who work behind the scenes to make every round of golf possible, often battling challenging weather and growing conditions to maintain pristine playing surfaces.
