S.S.P. Chawrasia, a 4-time winner on the European Tour, shot 70-69-71-70 (even-par 280) to finish tied-56th at the US$ 2mn ISPS Handa Championship in Spain.
The 43-year-old Chawrasia last played a DP World Tour event at the Dutch Open in Sep. 2021, where he finished 77th.
So far in 2022 Chawrasia has played in seven events, making three cuts. His best finish is a tie for 22nd at the inaugural The DGC Open in New Delhi. He currently enjoys conditional status on the DP World (European) Tour Rankings, providing him limited starts on the tour.
Chawrasia will be joined by Shubhankar Sharma for the US$ 2mn Catalunya Championship from April 28-May 1 in Spain.
