JAGA’s junior program at ITC Classic is set to raise the bar for golf training in India
Classic Golf & Country Club, in association with the Junior Asian Golf Academy (JAGA), has launched a series of programs for juniors, seniors and families, blending world-class technology with professional coaching.
Directed by Shane Gillespie, JAGA operates campuses across Asia and North America. In India, its coaching team includes Arjun Malik and Marc-Andre Menard, combining international expertise with local knowledge to provide premier instruction and state-of-the-art resources for students.
The programs cover:
Fundamentals – Grip, swing and posture with GC Quad feedback
Short Game & Putting – Video analysis with customised drills
On-Course Play – Strategy, club selection and course management
Swing Lab – Benchmarking with GC Quad and Capto systems
Group Clinics – Technology-led sessions for individuals, families and corporates
In June 2024, ITC Classic inaugurated the JAGA academy in a new push to fill the need in India for top class coaching. The academy integrates elite golf training with rigorous academics, offering student-athletes a platform to excel in both sport and education.
The 18 hole Jack Nicklaus Signature course at ITC which has hosted numerous Asian Tour events over the years, offers a top class test for players to hone their course management skills. The setting provides state-of-the-art facilities including a GC-Quad studio, driving ranges, short game areas and customised training regimens.
