With the club leagues gaining momentum, Delhi GC last year launched a league for players over 70 years which saw enthusiastic participation with 12 teams consisting of 8 players each taking part.
The season followed a two stage format with a round robin league phase where teams competed using a Stableford format before the top four advanced to the knockout stage.
2026 marked season 2 of the league with Silver Bandits beating defending champions Golden Bullets in a dramatic sudden death playoff to win the Delhi Golf Club Golden Members League 2026.
The final, played in the fourball better ball matchplay format, ended level after six matches with both teams winning three each, forcing a playoff, which concluded on the 2nd hole.
The league, featuring members above 70 years of age, once again highlighted the club’s depth of experience, competitive spirit and enduring love for the game.
