DP World (European) Tour – Shubhankar, Veer make cut in Kenya

Shubhankar Sharma is playing his ninth straight season on the DP World Tour

Shubhankar Sharma, 29, finished T-48 at 9-under 271 after rounds of 71-65-68-67. The two-time DP World Tour winner regained his playing rights with a T-2 finish at the Qualifying Tournament and is back competing full-time on the circuit.

Sharma has played eight events this season, making four cuts, and currently stands 124th on the tour rankings. He will be hoping to build momentum in the weeks leading up to the Hero Indian Open, where he and his compatriots are expected to headline the home challenge.

Veer Ahlawat, the 2024 PGTI No.1, opened his season with a T-53 finish at 8-under 272, returning rounds of 67-67-69-69. Ahlawat, who competed on the DP World Tour last year and now holds conditional status, is dividing his schedule between the DP World Tour and the PGTI.

Yuvraj Sandhu, the PGTI’s No. 1 in 2025 after a record-breaking seven-win season, missed his fifth consecutive cut following rounds of 69-71. Now supported by Hero MotoCorp, Sandhu is still searching for a breakthrough performance to signal his arrival on the bigger stage.
