Dull week overseas for Indian stalwarts

Saptak needs to move inside top-77 to retain his full card for 2026

It was a dull week for the few  Indian pros who play overseas other than Hitaashee Bakshi and Ridhima Dilawari on the LET. With flagbearers Aditi Ashok and Shubhankar Sharma missing cuts on the LPGA and DP World Tour this week, only Saptak Talwar who plays on the Hotel Planner Challenge Tour in Europe managed to survive the 36-hole cut but finished with a disastrous 79 at the US$340,000 Open de Portugal.

Talwar lies just inside the top 100 on the Tour’s 2025 rankings which could give him conditional playing status on the Challenge Tour in 2026. Only the top 77 secure unconditional playing rights (a full card), leaving the Delhi pro with work to do in the last three regular events if he hopes to climb inside that number.
