European Tour – Sharma makes cut in Spain

Sharma  has locked up his playing rights for 2023 in Europe

Shubhankar Sharma followed a string of missed cuts in the past couple of months with two solid opening rounds of 69-69 but failed to maintain the momentum, shooting 73-70 on the weekend to end up 52nd at the US$ 2mn Mallorca Golf Open, one of the last events of the season in Europe. .

Sharma is currently at  48th on the European Rankings and with a little luck should end up in the top 50 so he gets into the lucrative season ending DP World Tour championship in Dubai. He now plays the US$ 2mn Portugal Masters from Oct. 27-30.
