A record 5 Indians will enjoy full playing rights on the Ladies European Tour (LET) season in 2026, up from just two players in 2022.
On the season-long LET rankings, Dagar led the Indian contingent in 25th, with rookie Avani Prashanth 36th, Pranavi Urs at 43rd despite being plagued by injuries, and another rookie Hitaashee Bakshi at 59th. The seasoned Vani Kapoor who has finished the domestic season as a clear No 1 with 5 wins, finished 99th on the LET and is in line for 12 guaranteed starts, the same pathway Bakshi used in 2025 after topping the 2024 Hero WPGT standings.
At the season-ending LET finale in Spain last week, Avani Prashanth and LPGA “veteran” Aditi Ashok, who also has five career wins on the LET, shot 9-under 279 each to register tied-11th finish at the US$ 810,000 Andalucia Open de Espana in Spain. Avani carded rounds of 71-69-68-71 and Aditi carded 69-70-69-71 for the feat.
Prashanth’s week was a tidy snapshot of her rookie year: steady early, a push in the middle, then a composed finish to lock in another solid result at the finale. Ashok, a five-time LET winner and LPGA regular, mirrored that rhythm—four controlled rounds, no blow-ups, and a top-15 to end the season on the front foot.
What’s next is the LET Qualifying Tournament which will see a record 16 Indians entered in Morocco. India could add to the LET roster again for next season—another concrete sign the Indian pipeline, at least for ladies golf, is widening.
