20 year old Jasmine Shekar from Bangalore made a statement start to the 2026 Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour (Hero WPGT), completing a wire-to-wire victory at Bombay Presidency Golf Club with a bogey-free 5-under 65 in the final round.
She finished at 8-under 202 after rounds of 67-70-65, winning by four shots and standing alone as the only player to shoot par or better on all three days at the par-70 layout.
The win earned her ₹2.30 lakh from a ₹17 lakh purse.
It was Jasmine’s fourth career title on the Hero WPGT since turning professional in 2023. She won twice in 2024, once in 2025, and now begins 2026 where she left off — climbing steadily up the Order of Merit, from sixth as a rookie, to fifth, and then third last season.
Ridhima Dilawari closed with a 67 to finish second, while amateur Zara Anand claimed third at 1-over, one of just three players under par on the final day.
The Tour moves next to Kalhaar Blues & Greens, Ahmedabad, from January 21–23, with Jasmine setting the early benchmark.
