22-year-old Pranavi Urs from Mysore who heads into her third straight season on the Ladies European Tour in 2026, beat the male pros for the first time in the brand new IGPL series which features men and women competing for the same prizes, with a sensational final-round 8-under 60 at the Bombay Presidency Golf Club.
Playing her IGPL debut, the 21-year-old from Mysuru began the day two shots behind overnight leader — and boyfriend — Karandeep Kochhar, but erased the deficit in style. Pranavi’s flawless card featured eight birdies, for a three-round total of 14 under par.
Kochhar, who signed off with a 6-under 64 highlighted by two eagles, finished runner-up at 12-under. He was quick to acknowledge Pranavi’s exceptional play.
“I had a feeling she would win — she was playing incredible golf,” Kochhar said. “She outplayed all of us. Early in the round, I knew I would have to produce something special to keep up.”
Pranavi, who already owns multiple wins on the Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour and has been one of India’s most promising talents in recent years, said “I’m still numb — it hasn’t hit me yet that I’ve actually won,” she said. “Playing alongside the boys on a platform like this is amazing. It shows you exactly where your game stands, and today everything clicked.”
Her 60 was the lowest round of the week on the par-68 layout and underscored her growing stature as one of India’s most complete young golfers across formats.
