Indian golf industry representatives were among those who travelled to Orlando, Florida,  for the PGA Merchandise Show, the sport’s premier annual trade gathering, held from January 20–23.

The 73rd edition of the show drew more than 34,000 industry professionals — its highest attendance in 16 years — reflecting golf’s sustained post-pandemic growth in participation, equipment sales and course activity since 2020.

Organisers said the event welcomed attendees from 90 countries and all 50 US states, highlighting its expanding global reach. The exhibition floor also grew, with more than 1,195 brands spread across roughly 1.1 million square feet, an increase across exhibitor count, booth space and overall footprint compared with 2025.

Attendance rose by about three percent from last year’s figure of roughly 33,000, marking the second consecutive year of growth as the industry builds on momentum created during the pandemic.

More than 8,200 PGA of America professionals, LPGA professionals and international PGA members were present, alongside 1,300 VIP buyers representing 910 facilities and retailers. Organisers estimate those buyers account for nearly US$1050 million in purchasing power and $2.6 billion in retail sales potential.

For Indian delegates, the PGA Show remains a key platform to track global trends and connect with the global golf industry.
