Indians compete at Hong Kong Seniors

Sandeep Sandhu proves HK is a happy hunting ground

Sandeep Sandhu, a former winner here, led the Indian challenge at the Hong Kong Seniors Open Amateur at Hong Kong Golf Club, finishing T-7 at 9-over 225 after rounds of 78-75-72 in an 82-man field of players over age 55 years. 

Amit Luthra of Delhi —placed a creditable ninth at 11-over 227 (72-78-77) while Bangalore’s David D’Souza finished T-15 , and Chandigarh’s Jaspreet Bakshi ended 24th. 

The tournament ran December 2–4, was open to golfers 55 and above, and was contested over 54 holes of stroke-play with a cut after 36 holes.
