Inaugural National Inter-Club Pairs to begin on Dec. 5

India is set to witness its first-ever National Inter-Club Pairs Golf Championship, a landmark event connecting 25+ premier golf clubs across the country. The championship serves as India’s exclusive qualifier for the International Pairs World Final 2026, to be held at the iconic Sun City Resort, South Africa.

Open to all amateur golfers — men, women, and seniors — the competition follows a Fourball (Best Ball) Match Play format. Each pair represents their home club, with club winners advancing to the National Inter-Club Final, scheduled for April 2026 in Delhi NCR. The National Champion Pair will earn the honour of representing India at the World Final, joining players from over 50 countries.

Every club will field 16 pairs, with matches managed digitally through a dedicated tournament app. The double-elimination format ensures each pair plays at least two matches, while finalists in Delhi will enjoy a premium experience with 5-star accommodation, caddies, and gala events.

Founded in 1998, the International Pairs is the world’s largest amateur pairs competition, engaging 1.5 million golfers globally. The Indian edition, with entries closing November 28, 2025, promises to bring together the country’s best club golfers in a celebration of teamwork, sportsmanship, and national pride.

Entry Fee: ₹10,000 per pair.

Club Rounds: December 5, 2025 – April 15, 2026.
