Jeev finished Tied-20th in China

India’s seasoned veteran professional, 53-year-old Jeev Milkha Singh registered his third consecutive Top-20 finish this season on the European Legends (Senior) Tour, finishing Tied-20th at the inaugural Reignwood Legends Championship, held from July 4-6 in Beijing, China.

This marked the first time a European Legends Tour event was staged in China, at Pine Valley Golf Club—a Jack Nicklaus-designed course that also hosted the European Tour’s 2005 Johnnie Walker Classic where five Indians, including Jeev Milkha Singh and fellow Legends Tour player Jyoti Randhawa, competed but missed the cut.

Jeev posted rounds of 72-72-73 for a three-day total of 1-over 217, finishing 13 shots behind South African Keith Horne, who closed out his second Tour win at 12-under 204.

Each of Jeev’s three starts on the Legends Tour this year has resulted in a finish inside the Top-20 and he is now 32nd in the Rankings.

The other Indian who has qualified for the Legends Tour is 3-time Indian Open winner Jyoti Randhawa, now 53. After winning the Legends Tour Qualifying Tournament in 2023, he finished 30th on the final 2024 Rankings. However, injury troubles have kept him sidelined so far this year, but he returns to competitive golf at the next Legends Tour event taking place this week.

The Legends Tour now heads to the scenic Golf Club Bad Ragaz in Switzerland for the 27th Swiss Seniors Open, scheduled from July 7-13.

Jeev has played the Swiss Seniors Open three times with his best result coming last year at Tied-20th, while Jyoti has made just one prior appearance at the event, where he finished an impressive Tied-7th.
