Kartik Singh continues to impress on international fronts

India’s top junior golfer, Kartik Singh, took the  runner-up position at the Junior Dubai Desert Classic, concluding the two-day tournament held at the Faldo and Majlis courses in Dubai with scores of 73-71 just a week prior to the European Tour’s US$9 million Hero Dubai Desert Classic.

Kartik emerged as the leading overseas player, finishing on level par, trailing the winner by four shots. 

The winner of the second edition of the Junior Dubai Desert Classic at Emirates Golf Club was long hitting Viktor Kofod Olsen who is a member of Emirates. Olsen posted impressive rounds of 71 and 69, accumulating a four-under-par total of 140.

The tournament featured a unique format, with the opening round played under the lights (night golf) at the Faldo Course, followed by day golf at the Majlis course.

A total of 52 golfers, comprising both boys and girls aged 18 and under, participated in this official calendar event of the HERO Dubai Desert Classic.
