14 year old golfing sensation Kartik Singh continued his impressive streak with a victory at the IGU Gujarat Open, held at Kalhaar Blues and Greens in Ahmedabad, from October 22-25. Riding high on his impressive 10th place finish at the Asia Pacific Team Amateur Championship (Nomura Cup) earlier this month, Kartik’s skill and confidence were evident as he emerged as the overall winner in the A+B combined category.
Kartik, who was trailing by four shots going into the final round, lined up a fiery round with eight birdies to secure a well-deserved win. He finished with a remarkable 14-under-par score for the tournament and a margin of four shots in the combined category, and a formidable 18-shot gap in the B category.
Harman Sachdeva showed his prowess as the winner in Category A.
