The KGA Premier League 2026 is up and running — and the scale of this season is already evident.

Over 630 players went under the hammer at the two-day auction, with 432 drafted across teams and the rest forming a structured Reserve Pool. Those in the reserve list were not left out, competing in the Fellowship Round held alongside the inaugural ceremony — a move that has added depth and inclusivity to this edition.

The league opened in style with themed team entries, ramp walks and cheers, setting the tone for a month of high-intensity competition.

Round 1: Four Ball Aggregate

The opening round, played over four sessions, immediately tightened the table.

Team Standings (after Round 1):

  1. Cauvery Express – 202.5
  2. Promac Pinhigh – 197
  3. Dakshin Rangers – 189.5
  4. Krishvi Peps – 188.5
  5. Rosetta by Ferns – 187
    T6. ASM Aces – 186.5
    T6. Obaku – 186.5

The margins are already narrow, particularly in the middle of the table.

Individually, Sudhir Makhija (Bagmane Bisons) leads with 40 points, closely followed by a packed group at 39 and 38 — underlining how competitive the field has become.

With Scramble up next, followed by Alternate Shot and the March 6 Title Round, the leaderboard remains fluid.

Every session now counts.
