LET announces Hero Women’s Indian Open 2026 dates

Hitaashee Bakshi was the best Indian finisher at 3rd in 2025

The Hero Women’s Indian Open will return with a US$500,000 purse at DLF Golf & Country Club, Gurugram, from October 22–25, 2026, giving India’s best women a marquee home week on the Ladies European Tour calendar.

The timing matters too: it’s set up as a back-to-back Indian golf fortnight, with the US$4 million DP World India Championship at Delhi Golf Club scheduled the week before (October 15–18, 2026), keeping the spotlight on Indian golf across consecutive weeks.

The HWIO heads into 2026 with a fresh benchmark after Shannon Tan won the 2025 edition at DLF, finishing 7-under 281 to win by one shot, a victory that also pushed her to the top of the LET order-of-merit race at the time.

More broadly, the event sits inside a bigger LET calendar conversation as women’s golf continues to scale its schedule and global footprint—exactly the kind of stage Indian players need: a strong field, meaningful points, and a purse that matches its status.
