LET – Avani best Indian in Saudi Arabia

Avani started her 2026 LET season with a T-39 finish

Avani Prashanth began her second full season on the Ladies European Tour (LET) with a tied-39th finish at the $5 million PIF Saudi Ladies International, underlining her steady growth on the global stage.

The 19-year-old from Bengaluru carded rounds of 69-71-68-73 to finish at 7-under 281 for the week. The result earned her $24,703 (approximately ₹22.23 lakh) and moved her to T-18 on the early LET rankings.

It was a composed start in a high-quality field at the season opener, the richest women’s event outside the majors and the LPGA’s CME finale.

Last season, Avani competed in 22 LET events in her rookie year, making 11 cuts. Her standout performance came at the Hulencourt Women’s Open, where she fired three consecutive rounds in the 60s (68-69-69) to take a one-shot lead into the final day before finishing tied fifth for her best result of 2025.

Among the other Indians in the field, Aditi Ashok finished T-58 at 2-under, while Pranavi Urs, now in her third straight LET season, was 60th at 1-under.

Diksha Dagar and LET rookie Hitaashee Bakshi missed the halfway cut.
