
2-time Olympian and a 2-time winner on the Ladies European Tour (LET), Diksha Dagar fired rounds of 72-74-74-74 for a T-45 finish at 6-over 294 at the US$ 1.2mn Women’s Australian Open to emerge as the best-Indian finisher for a third straight week.
Last week Diksha finished 5th at the US$ 430,000 Australian Women’s Classic.
So far, the 25-year-old Arjuna Awardee has played in 4 events, made three cuts and stands 9th on the season rankings.
19 year old Avani Prashanth from Bangalore, playing in her second consecutive season on the LET, carded rounds of 77-72-72-74 for a T-49 finish at 7-over 295, marking her second cut made of the season, following her T-39th finish at PIF Saudi Ladies International last month.
Vani Kapoor, the 2025 Hero WPGT No.1 struggled on the weekend to 66th place finish while
Delhi’s Hitaashee Bakshi (77-74) and Mysore’s Pranavi Urs (78-75) were unable to make the weekend rounds.
The LET now moves to the Gold Coast for the fourth and final event of the 2026 Australian swing — the US$ 430,000 Australian WPGA Championship from March 19-22 at Sanctuary Cove.
