LET – Pranavi lone Indian to survive cut in South Africa

Pranavi is currently the second-best ranked Indian on the LET rankings

Pranavi Urs carded 6-under 286 to finish T-36 at the US$380,000 Joburg Ladies Open at Randpark Golf Club in South Africa, continuing her steady run in her third season on the Ladies European Tour (LET).

The 22-year-old from Mysore was the only Indian to make the cut, which fell at 2-under, underlining a challenging week for the rest of the contingent.

Pranavi has now made five cuts in seven starts this season, with a tied-14th finish at the Australian Women’s Classic in March as her best result so far. She currently sits 55th on the LET rankings.

Tvesa Malik (72-73), Diksha Dagar (72-73), Avani Prashanth (75-74) and Hitaashee Bakshi (77-74) all missed the cut.

The Indian girls on LET remain in South Africa for the US$410,000 Investec SA Women’s Open at Royal Cape Golf Club from April 23–26, a tournament Diksha Dagar won in 2019.
