Five Indians will tee it up at the Ladies European Tour (LET) Final Qualifying in Morocco from December 16–20, a 90-hole grind that hands out 2026 full playing rights to the top 20 and ties.
Tvesa Malik, Nayanika Sanga, and amateur Anika Varma booked their spots through pre-qualifying at Noria Golf Club. Malik, who turned 30 on December 14, posted 72-71-73 to finish third, while Sanga followed with 77-70-75 for T-8. Varma claimed one of the last qualifying places with 78-74-73 for T-20.
The fourth Indian through pre-qualifying was amateur Saanvi Somu, who advanced from Samanah Golf Club after rounds of 71-74-74 for T-14. Somu arrives with momentum after a recent win at the IGU Chandigarh Ladies & Junior Girls Championship.
The quintet is completed by Vani Kapoor, who gets direct entry into Final Stage after finishing 99th on the 2025 LET rankings, helped by two top-10s in seven starts this season. Back home, she’s also been the dominant force on the Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour (Hero WPGT), leading the rankings with five wins.
One more subplot: Varma, a former leading Indian amateur and the best Indian finisher (5th) at the 2019 Hero Women’s Indian Open, now competes under the USA flag after graduating from the University of Oregon and gaining US citizenship last year.
Next up: five days, 90 holes, and a straight shootout for 2026 status.
