LPGA – Aditi enjoying strong start to 2026 season

Aditi is playing her 10th straight season on the LPGA

tied 27th finish at the US$4 mn Aramco Championship in Las Vegas, posting rounds of 74-71-76-75 for 8-over 296.

The 28-year-old Arjuna Awardee, India’s lone representative on the LPGA Tour, got off to one her best starts of any year with tied-third at last month’s Blue Bay LPGA Championship.

After a quiet 2025, Aditi has shown early signs of a return to form. Last season, she played 20 events, made 12 cuts and registered two top-10 finishes to end the year 75th in the standings. This is a welcome signal for her making it to a 4th consecutive Olympics in 2028 at Los Angeles as she and Diksha Dagar who is also doing well in Europe look most likely to represent India again.

This year, she has already earned US$227,608 (₹2.04 crore) and climbed to 24th on the LPGA season standings.

Her improvement has been backed by solid stats, with 75 percent driving accuracy (25th) and a ranking of 14th in putts per Green In Regulation.

Diksha Dagar, ranked eighth on the Ladies European Tour and the only other Indian in the field, missed the cut after rounds of 75-78 (9-over 153).

The venue, Shadow Creek, in Las Vegas proved to be one of the toughest venues of the year with the cut coming at 7 over par.

Aditi will next compete at the US$3.75 mn JM Eagle LA Championship from April 16–19 in Los Angeles, California.
