Aditi needs some top finishes to move inside top-60 on the LPGA
India’s Aditi Ashok, a three-time Olympian and one of the country’s most consistent global performers, ended with a 57th-place finish at the US$2.2 million Buick LPGA Shanghai in China. The 27-year-old shot rounds of 70-70-74-72 for a 2-under total of 286, marking her first made cut in three starts after a challenging stretch on the LPGA Tour.
Her performance in Shanghai earned her US$6,753 (₹5.9 lakh) and 4.40 ranking points, moving her up to 75th on the LPGA rankings. She also remains one of the most accurate players on Tour, currently ranking 7th in Driving Accuracy with an impressive 78.95%.
With just four regular-season events remaining, Aditi continues her chase for a spot in the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship, which features only the top 60 players on the rankings.
Next up for Aditi is the US$2.3 million BMW Ladies Championship in Korea, scheduled from October 16–19.
