Manu Gandas 41st in Belgium

Manu Gandas is still adjusting to European conditions

 

26-year-old Manu Gandas from Gurgaon, who earned his playing rights on the 2023 European Tour by topping the 2022 PGTI rankings, managed a creditable 41st place finish at the US$ 2mn Soudal Open in Antwerp, Belgium, with scores of 71-68-73-67 (5-under 279) to make his fourth cut in 10 events on the 2023 European Tour this season as he struggles to adjust to the new conditions, having spent the last decade playing almost exclusively around India. 

Meanwhile Shubhankar Sharma, who has spent the last five years on the European Tour and will be in The Open championship this July, shot 68-73 (-1) to miss the cut by a stroke. Sharma will be in England this week to compete in the U.S. Open Qualifier at Walton Heath GC, England on May 16th. 

The next event on the DP World ( European( Tour schedule is the US$ 2mn KLM Open from May 25-28 in the Netherlands.
