Mercedes Trophy, India’s biggest amateur golf series, will bring roughly 2,000 golfers to the tee across 11 cities this season as the tournament marks its 25th edition with 20 qualifying rounds.

The 2026 run began in Mumbai at Bombay Presidency Golf Club on January 7–8, before moving to Royal Calcutta Golf Club in Kolkata (January 13) and Qutab Golf Course in Delhi (January 14). It then headed to Prestige Golfshire in Bengaluru on January 21–22, and returned to Mumbai at Willingdon Sports Club on January 27–28, with over 100 Mercedes vehicle owners competing each day.

At every stop, players are competing for 3 places at the National Final, from where three winners will earn berths at the MercedesTrophy World Finals in Stuttgart later this September alongside qualifiers from more than 50 countries.
The tournament is presented by HSBC and co-sponsored by Omega, Honma and Johnnie Walker.
